Haux Haux Family <3
Our dear family of the Huni Kuin traditions in Acre Brazil, needs our help!
They live in the Kaxinawa Indigenous Territory of the Humaita River, in the village of São Vicente, there are 29 families with 50 men, 56 women and 64 children who are still preserving the culture.
Currently, in the village the focus is on community work, improving things such as:
• Control of organic and non-organic waste in the village.
We always work to keep our village and the environment clean, we need to buy new brushcutters to keep the village clean and to manage the agroforestry system.
• Free-range chicken farming, to strengthen food security:
We need to expand chicken coops, buy corn and buy more chickens
• Reform and expand our health care system.
A place that is attended by the health team and the indigenous health agent in the village.
•Built the house to monitor and inspect the protection of isolated relatives
We need support to strengthen the house has already fallen we need to make another construction.
•Speed boat
We have a boat with 40 hp but we need to buy a new boat with a 60 hp engine, the one we have is already old and broken.
